Founded in 1997 by survivor Ernie Nives, the French Children of the Holocaust Foundation's mission is education and awareness about the history, events, and casualties of the Holocaust.

Today, Ernie's daughter Julie Nives and her family continue the work of Holocaust education and awareness.

French Children of the Holocaust Foundation is located at 250 West 57th Street, Suite 2203, New York, NY 10107-2204 and is designated as a 501(c) (3) organization.  The Foundation is the fiscal sponsor for projects related to Sala's letters.
